Remarks

i have chosen this college for civil engineering as it has many government job offers. The best thing about civil engineering is you all get to know about your creative skills.Great govt college and good people around

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members here are helpful, but their teaching doesn't make any student industry-ready. They always focus on completing the syllabus but not focus on improving the practical knowledge of students. Thus they not impart any extra knowledge other than the syllabus.

The average number of students got placed from our college as most of the companies hire only CS and IT branches students. Core branches like civil, mechanical, electrical, etc. have very less chances to get placements than coding branches. Our college doesn't have more placements for core branches.

College Events

The quality of the food available in the hostel is the worst. However, except for the food, everything is quite manageable. Wi-Fi facility is great, but sometimes, it becomes very slow. Every student is interested in sports and games, and our college also organises an annual sports day to encourage students.Good clubs and this makes life cool

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple. I did apply for VSSUT Burla but could not clear the cutoff. Also i would like to add on this that i did a better job in choosing the seat here .
