Remarks

Rajasthan is known to be the wedding hub of India. Traditional ways of organizing a wedding is a challenge. Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Pushkar are places where maximum Royal weddings are organized. Event management is more about practical knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus was quite updated. Being a student of BBA in event management, we were provided with basic management books and event specific books as well. We were sent for practical trainings as soon as theory sessions completed.

Internships Opportunities

I have opted for a project based internship. I was the head of hospitality department.

Placement Experience

During our trainings, we work with various companies. As we work with various companies, we get to know their style of working. In this case, alumni networking is essential as they give our reference to the companies they are associated with.

College Events

Campus life is good. Though we do not spend much time in the campus. We have our classes and then we leave the campus. Most of the time, students are busy with events or internships. We have our practical trainings along with theory sessions.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is pretty good. It provides us with Wi-Fi facilities and a good environment for theory sessions. Well equipped classrooms with white board, smart class, chairs, tables, etc. Faculty members are supportive.

The Overall experience of an average student

Placement Experience:

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Placement Experience:

placements can happen in any semester starting from 2nd semester, it completely depends on the companies which come to the campus for cadets. 95% of the cadets get placed at the end of their course. teh packages vary from 300000 to 1200000 per year. note that this is the stipend you get while training, once this training is finished and you have al the certifications and are medically fit for sailing you get ti earn 10 times more only after 2 years.

Placement Experience:

After completimg 2sem students are eligible for campus placements. Mock GD and interviews are conducted in 2 sem whivh will be assessed and will affect the overall SGPA. There are multiple companies like JLL, CBRE, Turner and Townsend, AWFIS, C&W, SPCL,GR Infra, GMR, Rider Levett Bucknail, Godrej, ICICI Bank, JWIL, Knight Frank, Savills, Vishwaraj etc. Around 98% of the students were placed from the campus interview. Profiles were for project management. Highest package was 28 LPA by Rider Levett Bucknail.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, the internship opportunities and full time placement opportunities starts to come, For my batch, Veritas, coditas , Worldline, Wipro, KPIT, CrelioHealth, Kylas these companies came with a good package which was greater tha 4 LPA. Highest package was from veritas 12 LPA, Kylas 7 LPA, and average was arount 3.5-4 LPA. Arount 60% students gets placed. I am placed with a good package through campus placement only

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students will be eligible for placements The placement criteria for placements is having 6.0 or above pointer in attempted semesters and they have to keep that grade up to the end of the course. The highest package was 30 lakh for Dubai bases company related to Real Estate and minimum Package was 3.75 lac for the freshers in Construction Project Management course. 40% of students get placed while 20% opted out and the rest of the students are still getting placement opportunities from the institute.
