I loved to be around fabrics, talk about them, the latest designs and thus I went for this course moreover any art which you have makes you self sufficient in every situation.So i chose this college for my fututre
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members are just fine. Our batch was lucky enough to get guest faculty members from other NIFT centres to teach and we got to learn from inhouse and outside also. Curriculum needs to focus more and more on self improvement skills and less based on assignments. But yes it surely makes you ready for industry somehow.
Placement Experience
Not sure about overall NIFT FD students but my batch had less than 50% placement. Highest offered by shahi and myntra went to 30k in hand. Assistant designer, illustrator, graphics are the key roles offered. The internship was 100% and in major companies across India like Shahi exports Faridabad and Bangalore, FLF Bangalore and many more of these strata like Paramount export Delhi etc.
College Events
Ragging free campus. The college had all facilities needed for the course but faculty needs an upgrade. The hostel is neat and clean and possesses good mess also. Food is fine and as compared to other government universities it is cheap and okay. Wi-Fi is available in the whole campus. Labs are well-equipped and well ventilated and neat enough. Most modern Juki machines are provided. And the library is growing day by day.
