Remarks

The best i like about the college is that it gives us exposure and always supports us in every we take part. Regarding the course this is the only reason i chose science. It includes sketching and requires a lot of imagination. I am fond of sketching so yes i chose architecture as my career.

Course Curriculum Overview

Its a good college. Faculties are average. Some of them are really good and most of them are very supportive. I am still in 2nd year and need to explore a lot. Our syllabus is revised according to 2019 pattern.

Placements and job oppurtinities are not provided by the college. Although they give you a lot of idea but you have sear h for yourself.

Its great. We have events going on all round the year. Although we get the freshers quite late but then too its fun. We have cultural event along with that. We also have seminars in our college. A ted talk show is also organised. Recently during the lockdown we had a webinar with chetan bhagat. We have other events also.

The Placement Cell is responsible for the placement process. It is not very streamlined. Getting a job is considered tough, usually, the student has to search for it themselves. The average package offered is about 4 Lakhs which is okayish. Usually, students go for masters in Europe which is one of the best options. About 40 people apply for placements out of 180 students and out of that about 20-30 get placed.

Architecture, a good option

DY Patil in akurdi has one of the best campus in Pune. The campus has more than 15 different colleges in it. Such as engineering, architecture, fine arts, mca, mba, etc. The landscape of campus is very well designed. Speaking about the architecture college building, the planning is very beautiful and there are lots of open spaces for students to enjoy. The overall vibe of the place attracted me so I wanted to go to this college only. One of the bad aspect would be the classrooms. In my first year there was no issues with the classrooms but later on since they divided us in three divisions instead of two the classrooms were short. So they had to divide a studio in two, which was very chaotic at some times. The admission procedure was quite easy and the staff was very helpful too....Read More
