Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is modified but it could be a little better in terms of teaching methods and assignments that are given as it not relevent to still works on sheets in the first with the advancing world out there it is high time to make students work on softwares from the first semester

Internships Opportunities

The internships opportunities available in the college is nice they give you internship opportunities and the companies like larsena nd turbo visits the college although this stipend maybe less bit the main thing is the experience you get there

Placement Experience

From fifth year onward students become eligible for placements and you can start internship from forth year maybe many companies visit the college and the highest offer made last year was five lakhs though less students got on campus placement many were recruited of campus and many got chance to study masters

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has quite decent fee structure as per an architecture course it is apx one lakh for open category and if you are maharastra candidate with reservation category you do get benefits of scholarships

Campus Life

The college is very much active in organising in campus events and activites to show case creativity and the fest is organised every year in the collge and it showcases different talents of the students outside the academics

Admission

I got admission in this college through cap rounds so it was quite an easy process for me and the reason I chose this college was the location and a lot of other factors like the feedback I got from my aquintances studying in this collge

Faculty

The faculty is nice except a very few they are strict but supportive too the course and gield in itself is very creative and disciplinry you need to be focused in your work and do the submissions on tome

Night Life

The nightlife around the college is amazing you will see people sittimg in the footpath and enjoying with friemds it is just great to hang out with friends at night there are so kany cafe s around the college and the famous khao gali and chowpati of maharastra you will see that too here

I chose the architectural course because I love designing buildings. The teachers were good, and there weren't too many students in each class. They knew a lot about architecture and taught us in different ways, like drawing and going to see real buildings. The exams were fair and not too hard, but you had to study. Perfect infrastructure but more experience faculty needed

Before applying to college i gave jee mains exam paper 2 I got 93.26 percentile i wanted to get admission in bricks college of architecture but could not fit into the merit list in for bricks but this was the second best college in pune and I wanted my admission to be in pune I took in dy patil the admission process is simple you need to give nata exam or jee exam and then you need to apply through state common entrance cell for admission a merit list will be published if you fit in the eligibility criteria you get admission or not you can apply through management quota 24 seats are available...Read More

Architecture, a good option

DY Patil in akurdi has one of the best campus in Pune. The campus has more than 15 different colleges in it. Such as engineering, architecture, fine arts, mca, mba, etc. The landscape of campus is very well designed. Speaking about the architecture college building, the planning is very beautiful and there are lots of open spaces for students to enjoy. The overall vibe of the place attracted me so I wanted to go to this college only. One of the bad aspect would be the classrooms. In my first year there was no issues with the classrooms but later on since they divided us in three divisions instead of two the classrooms were short. So they had to divide a studio in two, which was very chaotic at some times. The admission procedure was quite easy and the staff was very helpful too....Read More
