Remarks

No specific factors. As the college is far away from my home I thought of having a change by staying in the hostel. I didnt opt for any other colleges. The college which I had studied for my degree was so close to my home. But still I opted for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Everything good except for the strictness and bribe of the management. A little humanity should be considered by the college authority. As it is a girls college little more space and freedom should be provided.

Placement Experience

2

There has been no placement and job opportunities in the department of English as to my knowledge. The alumni networking for job referrels is average. Only the job of teaching is referred. Notable alumni from my batch is famous south indian actress Parvathy.

College Events

2

Campus life was not so enjoyable. The authority has to be less strict. They should try not to burden the students with their religious measures. The students are forced and threatened in the name of religion. That should be strictly avoided. And the use of mobile phones should be allowed.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is not upto date. Food service in the canteen not at all appreciable. The service of Library is average. The space in the campus is wide. The ambience is really soothing except for the trains and airplanes that passes by, its causing noise pollution.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel ambience is quite good. But the food service is really bad. Curfew should be made more convenient. As of a christian institution the authority force upon religious measures. And to go out they have made strict rules that should be changed.

Actually the syllabus is much concentrated on kerala history and heritage studies part. So this will enrich the ideas about museums, different archaeological sites in kerala, and also field visits are there as part of the course which will increse your practical knowledge as well as theoratical part.

The academics are well scheduled here. The class strength is of 250 students. There are a lot of faculties to help you with the academics. The HOD of the aubject coordinates the academics of that subject. Internal exams are conducted regularly.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the 6th semester onwards. At the conclusion of the second year, the college evaluates all students, allowing only the diligent and deserving individuals to proceed, while others are dismissed. The college provides excellent placement prospects for high-performing students. A multitude of reputable companies actively recruit from our institution, making it a premier destination for career opportunities in Kerala. While assured placement is offered to students with minimal or no backlog papers, others are also placed, albeit with comparatively lower annual packages. Majority of the talented students are placed in Cognizant and TCS Ninja with an average annual package of 10 to 12 lakh. I actually plan to pursue higher studies after Btrch.

Good remarks are our laboratory and library. These facility help us a lot for our study. The one thing and feel bad is our canteen. Our canteen needs more development. It require some more space and some standard foods. What we have now is average, we need a good canteen. All other facilities in our college are good according to me.

I loved my department. But some of the management decisions made bad impacts on students and they hate the college. Faculties were good. As I already said 4 to 5 professors were so good in teaching and rest of them makes the learning experience a nightmare.
