Entrance Preview

It was through Anna university counselling. I opted this college since i wanted to study mechanical engineering and they are iso certified.

Internships Opportunities

They did not offer any intern. Even projects were not handled properly. Simply we wasted our time and gained poor knowledge. We went for industrial training on our own to develop our knowledge.

Placement Experience

1

Hope other departments such as ECE, EEE, CSE got placed in companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc. But for mechanical none of the companies came for hiring.

College Events

1.5

In 1st year we had a good scope for technical event named My Idea Program, which brought out knowledge of young talents. It has been a way to explain their own ideas and the same was encouraged. It was really boosting up knowledge to learn more. Later on only symposiums were conducted every year. Cultural were once in a year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since i got through counselling, i had to pay government fees of Rs 35000 per year but they charged Rs 70000 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only government scholarships were provided, that too we have to pay Rs 500 as a bribe to obtain Rs 5000 every year. They were trying to pluck money only from students but not to help them or support them.

Campus Life

1.5

Extracurricular activities were not supported properly. Every year we have sports day but no training or support for the whole year. No technical competitions were held to improve knowldege.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Hostel fees was Rs 11000, which room and facilities were not worth for money. Fees for food was really worst, because it was around Rs 2000 to 2500 where the quality of food is almost like 3rd rate.

Many staffs work on the placement. Hence the placement is average . They provide interships and consider it as placement. Hence take a person with intern offer from the database. But only few finally get the employement offer and offers left unemployed.
