Remarks

The main reason for choosing this college is that many of my friends already study in this college. They had a great experience with the college and its faculties so it made me bend more towards this college and I took admission in it

Course Curriculum Overview

My opinion about the course curriculum is that it is very detailed and deep. There is a seminar in the starting of every session in which students are very well told about the course curriculum and the format in which they will be marked and in which they will be taught. I think it is one of the best thing As the students get an idea of what they will be taught

Placement Experience

3.5

Companies like Tata, Godrej, Airtel, HDFC, SBI, Bajaj comes in the college. Any big company your name will come in the college to give placements to the students. The college has a really good reputation in the market and the average package is from 2,00,000 to 6,00,000

College Events

3.5

The campus life as of now is very good and happening. If I go to college I will never get bored even if I am in my free period. There are many activities which are going on in the college in which we can take part. The college has made certain clubs like drama, eco-club, writing in which students can engage and devote their time

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is quite big and have all the labs, libraries, big rooms and a big canteen as well. Even the rooms are very well ventilated and proper hygiene standards are maintained. The college is equipped with security cameras so that the students safety is also ensured

Hostel Facilities

College has Le hostel facility with Rs.62,000 per year. In my opinion it is a nominal price as many colleges charge much more for the hostel. Even the hostel is very neat and clean and all the food is provided in the college mess. The security of the students is never compromised and the hostel rules are very strict

Admission

To get admission in this college there is no Major requirement as the admission is given on the basis of the merit. The student has to be passed 12 class and according to there merit list attendance is given.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.
