Remarks

I chose FCET because the clubs impressed me, a student actually took me around on a special personal tour and I saw some clubs/robotics labs with students working on really impressive stuff and nothing else seemed to compare across other universities.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was offered specialization on six disciplines i.e. civil engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering and information technology, the semester exams were conducted based on our specialization we choose.

Course Fees: INR 354000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement offered in FCET is average however few companies visits our campus for recruitment drive. The highest package offered yet is around Rs.3,00,000 which was last year . We can expect hike in the package within the upcoming years.

College Events

I got the opportunity to visit various industries and learn from visual representation, multiple project works were also a part of my curriculum which allowed me to visit sites and conduct researches and surveys.

Campus Life

The campus looks absolutely amazing. The lawns are maintained like golf courses, landscapers are constantly working to beautify the campus. The newer buildings are nothing short of a work of art, the older buildings are well maintained and the interiors have been renovated.

Admission

I appeared for JEE entrance exam in the year 2019 for final selection in Ferozepur College of Engineering and Technology.

Good campus life with decent academics

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

A perfect blend of academics, campus life and opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculumn of chandigarh university is releavant and covers core subjects with projects and labs. It support basic industry readiness, but pratical exposure can improve. Exam are held mid and the end semester with modern difficulty. More hands on experience and updated technoilogies would enhance overall effectiviness and career prepartions.

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free. She was laughing at such a test. She said no one does that anymore, they just type then run spell check. Technology is changing our NEEDS opinion is that curriculum should reflect our reality. No one gets paid to solve problems that have already been solved. Students should be exposed to solving problems they have not seen before but that can be solve with the content they have learned in class. This will help them develop problem solving strategies they will be able to use the rest of their lives
