Course Curriculum Overview

The biotechnology course is extremely interesting and our college follows the CBCS guidelines. Exams are held semester wise and course curriculum is well structured. We also have lab works and projects.

Placement Experience

The placement is almost null with no placement cell. No job opportunities in our college and no companies visit our campus. You have to prepare yourself with good grades and sit for government and other private exams.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees here is not at all expensive. The total program of 3 years can be divided into a yearly fees or six-months frequency. The exams are timely scheduled and lab works are not all hectic. We are also given project works.

Campus Life

From student competitions to workshops, campus training and others functions, all are organised in the college. We also have an annual sports that is organized in the beginning of the year. Student to teacher ratio is perfect.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is cheap and good. The AC single room charges Rs 5000 and AC 4 people room charges Rs 3000. There are Non-AC rooms also. The food quality given is also good. You can also arrange for PG nearby.

Admission

Admission to the B.Sc Program is merit based but engineering program is entrance based.The college will consider the marks obtained in 10+2 boards. Then a merit list will be prepared. After that you can get admitted.

Faculty

The faculty is highly qualified and the teachers always help the students in terms of studies, labs, projects and assignments. The study material is helpful and they give valuable lectures to us regarding career guidance.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

Placement Experience:

For internship from college students are applicable after 3rd year and on 7th semester they are applying for placements. Our college is situated in hilly greenery areas. There is no college building in my college and the college is under construction so the classes are runs in a polytechnic campus. The good thing in this college is that u can prepare for any other exam like Gate, Isro, Railway and any other govt exam. You prepared from their own self college didn't help you to get success. Admission in this college is got by the JEE Main results you can get admission here at the very low rank and there is A+ point to the student that this is a govt college and fees is low if you are from a middle family u can try here.
