Course Curriculum Overview
MSc. Biotechnology is a 2 year course and is suitable for candidates who have studied in the same field at the UG level or wish to pursue a career in it. The course inculcates professional skills in students. It teaches about the application of biology and bioprocess in engineering, medicine and technology where bio-products are needed.
Placement Experience
Being a famous college in trichy, the college invites few companies for recruitments. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Big Bazaar, IT companies and few others These offers are mostly for PG courses. The career prospects of our course includes Research Biochemist, Quality Controller and Regional Manager and in industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Research Organizations, and FMCG besides colleges and universities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fee for my course was First year- Rs,19,510 & Second year - Rs. 18,235 . The fee total was Rs.38,000 for two years which is affordable as compared to other institutes. Students are also offered government scholarships who excel in academics and need help financially.
Campus Life
Campus life is really good and friendly. It Provides lot of opportunities for external college competitions and such activities are promoted very much among the students. Many students participate in arts and science fest.
Admission
You can get the admission form and prospectus from the college and fill the form with valid details. Then you have to submit the form along with the required documents. The application fee is to be paid in cash or through DD.
Faculty
The faculty members possess good leadership qualities to lead others. They were Reasonable and fair & had Passion for the subject. They had high expectations from their students and promoted positive behaviors and change in the classroom.
