Devina Bisen's Review On SR Institute Of Management And Technology - [SRIMT], Lucknow

This is a genuine feedback about my college (No advertising). Based on my all 4 years in SRIMT i would like to recommend it to the people who aspire to become engineers but couldn't score well in entrance exams. SRIMT is a UPTU (now APJ abdul kalam) univ. affiliated college. (UGC approved.).

Course Curriculum is uniform in all the colleges of the university. It is a proper engineering syllabus for required to groom you up in a well structured engineer. It is full with practical knowledge stuffs, projects and internships. In SRIMT you get to learn whole of the syllabus along with additional workshops and classes arranged by the college . All in all it is a complete engineering package .College provides you self made notes prepared by faculties, along with n no of referral books, present in the rich college library .

College sponsors students to some company like HCL, pie infotech etc. Otherwise, students can take internship from any of their desired company. Mostly these internships are not paid in some cases it is paid upto 10-15 k. College requires a project to be completed during the internship. It's good to go for learning rather than earning during internships.

It provides good placement opportunities, there are two placement sessions held during the final year. even 3rd year students can be a part of them. In these placement sessions many companies come across. including some of the big brands. Well, Yes it depends on how Lucky you get. College recommends their meritorious students to the company.

There are a lot of college events held all round the year, which helps you to revive you energy from time to time. Starting from fresher's , teacher's day, engineer's day, tech fest, vishvakarma jayanti , farewell etc. College also gets some celebrity gatherings, promotions and many motivational sessions by experts. They keep workshops on latest technologies and present market scenarios. So, you'll have fun along with the studies.

Educational loans or scholarships provided by up govt. can be availed. College supports it all the documentations and all.college also waits and gives you time to avail them.

Campus life is adventurous and good going. You get sports items to play in the evening, campus is big enough for a walk at night also.

Exam structure varies from first to last year of the course. It also depends on the changes in university patterns. For internals we had 2 sessionals and one pre univ exam along with practicals, then there are 2 sems each year, odd and even .

We had all well qualified faculties with good experience. The best part is that you get to stay back in the college even after college hours to study anything you lacked . During semesters our faculties stay in the college hostel to help students during night studies. We have common study rooms and library open all night for any help.
