Course Curriculum Overview

This is a two years program which turns a novice into a wise professional. One basically learns American literature, fiction, famous novelist's novels and poems. The counselling was more like a personal interview, nothing to worry about.

Placement Experience

We do not really focus on internships while pursuing masters, however, one can indubitably opt to do it. The job opportunities are worth applauding the college features some of the most prestigious news organisations which come for hiring us as an editor, proof-reader or senior writer based on our intellect.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Masters in English is usually very affordable but our college has exceptionally low fees when it comes to affordability, this is the best college in the city. The annual fees for my course were around 4000 INR back then, the total fees being 8000 INR.

Campus Life

As a student of literature, I am not fond of anything more than a library and this college has a huge library which consists of fiction as well as non-fiction, documentary, biography and autobiographies from all genre. The college has a great infrastructure and a friendly environment.

Admission

After filling an online application, I had to undertake the counselling exam by the college. After a few weeks, the college released the marks and I scored 120 marks, I chose this course specifically because of my keen interest in the Literature. (I am an alumnus of 2018 batch, the exam pattern keeps changing).

Faculty

I literally adored how punctual my professors were used to set an exemplary example of the importance of time. The professors were fun-loving, they maintained a balance between academics and practicals.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Placement Experience:

It's mostly the lawyers and law firms as arbitrators lawyers and solicitors firm. Also Litigation firms like AZB, Tatava Legal and others too took few students but not many though. Almost from a batch size of 200 students 40 odd got placed through campus.

Placement Experience:

It's mostly the law firms as corporate houses have so far have drench coming to our campus. The reasons are obvious as just three batches have been passed out from her so far and unless a strong alumni network is formed it is impossible to get great placements from our campus.
