Course Curriculum Overview

The course was 3 years long and it was a semester based system. The practical were conducted semester wise with the final project submitted yearly. External and internal were conducted. The curriculum was stress free.

Placement Experience

The jobs were conducted at the end of last year and various well known companies came to interview like in clothing brands of Lifestyle, Zara. The average package was ?7-9 lakhs per annum with the 90% of the students getting placed in my batch.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was submitted semester wise at approximately at ?2 lakhs. The total fee was ?8 lakhs for the total course. The fee was submitted through NEFT, demand draft, card payments. No cash was accepted. The travel and the hostel fees were not included.

Campus Life

Extra co-curricular activity were conducted in the campus like theatre, music, dance, sports like cricket, basketball, football. There were equal number of boys and girls at the campus and they came from all over the background.

Admission

The application was available online and I filled the details through the official website. After application I was called upon the campus and my interview was conducted. The orientation happened after and I was selected for the course.

The teachers were very corporative and all were well known professionals. The teachers were reputed and well known. The faculty was very kind and polite all over, they communicated with the students very well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals
