Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very good and easy. It is easy to understand and can be easily adapted. The entire curriculum is semester based and every semester consists of internal and external examination with practical included.

Placement Experience

This is arts and commerce college. So, in our college there is no placement and internship provided. Students should not expect any kind of placement support from the college or for internships as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees in our college is very feasible and can be easily afforded by anyone. The average fees for per year is approximately 2000 -3000 which means for 3 years it will be within 10,000. This is not at all expensive.

Campus Life

Various celebrations are there during festivals for hostel students. Competitions are also held from time to time in our college. Every year fest is conducted in which all the teachers and students participate.

Admission

Interested students can apply for this college through online or offline mode. The basic criteria is that they should have scored more than 45%in 10+2. Based on this merit list is generated and student are called for interview.

Faculty in our college is very nice. They are very modest and down to earth. They are very knowledgeable and experienced. Concepts are explained properly by them and are always ready to help anyone if needed.

Likes

Faculties are good. Most them are very friendly
Class rooms and canteen are also good. Not the best
Fees are very low comparing to other collages

Dislikes

Not giving good placements. Only 1 or 2 good companies good. Others are average
I'm not interested hostel. But my friends in hostel always saying that the food is not good.
Some faculties are not treat all the students equal. Not every only some

Placement Experience:

Placement are not the best. But EY , federal bank, TCS are some the prominent companies that are coming. The negative thing about placement is most of them are offering marking jobs. So if you are someone who is interested in operations this is not the collage you want to in.

Likes

Decent infrastructure. hostel infrastructure is also clean and better than most colleges

Dislikes

Very poor campus life. No importance for cultural programmes and activities
Very poor and degrading environment for women. Faculties and other staff are very judgemental.
Very low packages for average students. Placement training is regularly being provided, but it is too hectic to be managed along with curriculum.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for placements after sixth semester. Major companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, e.t.c are recruiters. about 5-10 students are recuited on average by these companies. highest package was offered by south indian bank in 2023 (10 LPA). average packges are around 2 to 3 LPA.

We have a very good faculty family that is not only supportive but also loving.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester we are eligible for the placements. They provide placement training sessions in the college itself. Computer Science department has almost hundred percent placements. Also there is mtech in the college if you prefer higher studies.

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Likes

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Programs and activities are good and the support
Good support for the sports and highly skill atheletes

Exams are conducted without a gap in between
There are a lot of assignment often for the students

After 6 th semester students become eligible for placements . It's in the final years . Many companies have visited the college and made offers for the students like Wipro,Tenzo tech , infopark etc Around 70 Percent students get placement

When it comes to the campus life, I enjoyed all the 4 years
The infrastructure was okayish Could've improved.
The faculty was really friendly and I was able to approach them without any hesitation.

Dislikes

The road from the junction to the college is not at all maintained. Students coming up the hill find it very difficult to reach college
The bus fees are increased every year. But these people can't find a way to provide seats for the students after paying their bus fee.
Some other campus offer many varieties of food in their canteen. This has to be done here too

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.

Yeah well, positive things are there. I got many friends. I got a degree. I learned much personal and professional knowledge. I also learned how to live independently for 4 years without parents alone somewhere.

The Wonderful Times.

I opted as first preference while registration is christian college... and i allotted to that college in first itself in merit. The admission process were very boring for me... the interview process were formative. I heard a lot about this college from my friends and relatives. But the fact is beyond my imagination when i start experiencing the college days with teaching and non teaching staffs. They were very talented, supportive, friendly, comfort zones for me and all others. For any small or big problems there will be a solution among them. It makes me really wondered. My honest review for my lovely college

I choose this college as one of my mum's friend was one of the staff there jn the college and he said he would always help me out when I'm in need and that's also one of the nearest college in my surroundings. I was actually trying to enrolled myself in a better and far away colleges but due to Covid, my mum lost her job and we don't want to be seperated from each other during hard times. The admission process in my college is quite simple, the staff are always there for your assistant, and you don't need to do pretty much anything.
