Course Curriculum Overview
The course is recognized by Alagappa University, Karaikudi. The course involves both theory and practical sessions. The students also get to work at the hotel attached to the college for their on job training.

There are many event that are planned throughout the year. Students attend a bakery workshop at Hilton Chennai. There is also a harvesting trip where the students can learn about vegetables and how they are harvested.

The college admissions are based on the 12th standard exam scores. The college also has lateral entry for students who have completed Diploma programs. There is lateral entry into second and third year depending on the diploma course completed.
