Frankly speaking My college was only 2 years old Government Engineering college during our joining.Management system was not so good at that time even if the lab infrastructure was at start-up condition. But gradually with time every thing Changed & now it looks like a perfect Engineering college both structurally & in record.
Entrance Preview
I qualified the Orissa JEE entrance with a rank of 3600. My college was a government college & according to my rank it was fit for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had a special interest in computer science & in my college the course curriculum was really nice.According to our syllabus structure we had taught everything what a CSE student should learn.
Internships Opportunities
During our college internship course we were not getting any stipend but regular we used to get scholarship by the Government of Orissa.Generally I was getting a yearly 20000 stipend.
Placement Experience
As our college was new one & we were the second batch pass out students so the placement opportunity was not so good. The college placement shell was not taking so much responsibility.
College Events
Every year in our college,we were celebrating technical festival known as TECHFEST. Students from all over Orissa inluding NIT Rourkala & IIT BBSR were coming to our college.Apart from this we were celebrating our annual function known as MAJESTA.We were also getting our college magazine DARVAR which reflects the thought & skills of students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My college is Government Engineering College & like other GOVT. Colleges the fees were minimum. The annual fee was nearly 25000 for a year. The fees were very feasible where the students having financial problem could afford it.
Fees and Financial Aid
I was getting a yearly of 20000Rs. It was a scholarship program by Government of Orissa. It was given to the students having more good than 70% throughout the carrier.
Campus Life
I participated 2 times for the debate competition & awarded with prizes of second & first respectively. In our coordination we initiated a blood donation camp & voluntarily donated blood.I participated in college techfest. My friends from electronics background started the robotics.
Hostel Facilities
I stayed in hostel for first 2 years. We were staying in 2 & 3 shared room the rooms were new & everything were good. For last 3 years I was staying outside. But our college was very far from hostel.We were going college by college bus.
Alumni/Alumna
All our seniors got placed in many MNC companies. We always contact them & invite them for college functions & Technical festivals.They also inform us regarding new technology in market & sometimes refer for job openings.
Exam Structure
Surely the Exam structure were conducted through the proper guidelines of our University. The Exams & Lab days were rellay chilled out. The exams were conducted through CCTV governance.
Faculty
The faculty were really talented & they were very much student friendly. In every subject we had an HOD. As it was government college so many faculty were of professor range.
