Remarks

NITHM is an amazing college. I have tons of memories and at the same time learnt a lot of my teachers. The placements are great and the culture is also very inclusive and warm. The atmosphere is very positive at NITHM

Course Curriculum Overview

I pursued B.Sc H & HA. The curriculum of NITHM is very informative and practical. The subjects are such that they require a lot of practical training which proves to be very beneficial for our careers. The exam pattern is like that of any regular college - 1 internal and 1 external exam.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements are excellent. Companies like Domino's, The Oberoi Group, Taj Group of Hotels come for recruitment and hire a lot of students as management trainees. The highest package for out batch was 6 LPA.

College Events

5

There are a lot of fairs and conferences organised by our faculty members where a lot of big brands come and host sessions to educate students about the market trends. These events are very informative. Apart from that, our college organises a lot of sports events as well. Our Annual Fest Namashya is amazing!!

Fee Structure And Facilities

NITHM, being a government college is fairly inexpensive as compared to other colleges. The fees for B.Sc H & HA is somewhere between 4-5 Lakhs. The quality of education is however at par with the top hotel management colleges in India.

Campus Life

NITHM not only focuses on academics but also focuses on the holistic development of students. There are a lot of clubs and groups in place that facilitates the extracurricular interest of students. Our college hosts a lot of inter college and intra college competitions as well.

Hostel Facilities

NITHM is one of the colleges with excellent infrastructures. The classrooms are well equipped with smart screens and projects, the library is huge. There are different labs for different subjects. There are 3 kitchens ( 2 basic and 1 advanced) and 1 bakery. Hostels very clean and there is Wi-Fi 24*7.

Admission

Th admission procedure for NITHM is fairly simple. All you have to do is fill up the application form after taking NCHMJEE exam. This is an All India exam and the selection process happens only after three counselling sessions and personal interview.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is very good. I have had the pleasure of studying under some of the people who have had the corporate exposure with brands like Hyatt, Taj, etc. They provide a lot of assistance with respect to practical courses like cooking and bartending.

It includes strong core foundation in math, phy and very imp programming languages i.e core subjects. It has a guaranteed university recogniton like JNTUH. It should be improved in the teaching methords and conduct more workshops so that it'll be a practical experience for students to learn best. Jntu correction scheme is very strict.

Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.
