Course Curriculum Overview
The course is comprehensively dealing with all the aspects that a pharmacist needs to know, and the candidates have practical and theory separately. In addition, the University exam is of 70 marks and 30 marks is for the internal assessment based on average of 3 periodic tests. The course and the subject cover the pharmaceutical parameter and have in-depth theories and practical sessions related to medicines.
Placement Experience
The internship and placement here depend upon the capability and potentials. And the college does help in making the student ready to pursue a better career in medicine. Therefore, the college does organize placement drive to encourage students to sit for the interviews, mostly my class fellows are doing well in companies like E-medicine galaxy, Chem Pharma Pvt ltd, etc. to medicines.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for completing the course for B. Pharm is INR 1,59, 179 and for M. Pharm is INR 2, 67,001 and the fees is little expensive compared to other Pharmacy colleges. The amount covers for both practical sessions and theoretical papers which require maintenance and in-depth research.
Campus Life
The college indulges the students to take part in certain seminars and workshops to excel the knowledge. The conferences and events on pharmaceutical professional development and international yoga day celebrations are held and they are actually boon for the mental and physical development of a candidate.
Hostel Facilities
BCP has hostel facility. The entire campus cover with free Wi-Fi, the laboratory and the libraries which are up to date with new gadgets and also classrooms are in good conditions with proper seating arrangements. The food is very hygienic and worthy.
Alumni/Alumna
All students passed out and most of the seniors are well settled in abroad and progressing well in their career. Some of the seniors visit the seminars in the college to share their thoughts and paper with the juniors. The college now has an alumnus which helps current batch of students in their career.
Admission
The admission to B Pharm is done based on CET. To get the application, the candidate must register on the official website of MHCET, fill and submit the application form along with the required document. The application fee for General Category candidates is INR 800 & for Reserved Category candidates, the fee is INR 600.
Faculty
Bombay College of Pharmacy has an excellent faculty with all professors having a passion for teaching and the basics taught were so good. The faculty is famous for their research and publications internationally as well.
