Remarks

The nest thing about our college is the environment. Such a positive vibe all over! Also a very dynamic setting which encourages one to achieve the professional success in life. I have been thankful to myself for taking a right decision studying over there in my life.

Course Curriculum Overview

Business Analytics course is offered as a full time for students with updated syllabus as per industry norms. Total 4 semesters included in two years. In two years one will be exposed to 70 external credits and 30 internal credits subjects (total-100).

Placement Experience

Placements is the highlight of our college! Usually experienced had good package. But normally the average package is around 9 and above per annum. We got companies like Accenture,TCS,Wipro,IBM,Amazon etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is higher than the a normal MBA as this is a specialized MBA course. For two years one has to spend approx. 7.3. This includes the hostel,mess,library etc fees into it. Though cost seems to be heavy, It is a very good college and worth every penny.

Campus Life

MBA in SIUB never fails to bring a smile on your face irrespective of academic hustle. We had so many management fests some were inter and few intra. Paper presentations, sports, competition,How can anyone forget their foreign tour!

Admission

Getting into SIUB demands for completion of basic three year degree like BBA/B.com etc with not less than 50% aggregate along with it clearing SNAP exam is important. This is symbiosis university affiliated. After the written, selected candidates will be called out for a personal interview which is also an important aspect to get into the institution.

Faculty

The faculty of our university made the studies quiet interesting. They used to use case study methods often to make us understands the facts clearly. A thorough understanding was delivered by various innovative teaching forms. Well! for me they were the best.

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

I choose computer science and engineering because I'm interested in technology and programming and trsungs so choose computer science and I belive cs is more is more scope and I also need to know how technology solve the real world problem .

The curriculum was industry focused with a good balance of theory and practical learning. It prepared students well for careers. Semester exams were moderate. More internships and industry exposure would improve the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Likes

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

The first thing would be our college faculty because they have worked in amazon, snapdeal etc.
Frequent Interaction with founders and co founders of different companies and exposure to new tech
The peer group here is helpful to each other, I love to talk to people here because they always something running in their minds

Dislikes

the boys to girls ratio is low like there is 1(girls) : 5(boys)
I am missing the college life here, coz our campus is literally in building and we will be missing fest and events like other btech college
The hostel is not good, the food quality is very bad

Placement Experience:

From the 2 semester we will eligible to get internships, There were N number of startups like allen, pazcare, 0xppl, only just for internships. there are 50 offers to 50 students out of the 191 students. The highest package for the internship is 1.5 lakh, THe percentage of students getting placed is 45%. I want to build a startup after my degree

Good ranking of college among other private colleges of India
Best location of college in the silicon valley of India
Various opportunities of internship to students

Dislikes

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
