Deepali's Review On KAP Viswanatham Government Medical College, Tiruchirappalli

The curriculum is very much enclosed with advanced knowledge of the subject. We practice more and more as we have to specialize in the course. Labs are very hectic and sometimes entire day is spent in labs.

The placement and job opportunities are available in government and private sectors. Medicine can get accomodated anywhere. Also one have to option of post-doctoral degree as well which can fetch pretty awesome stipend.

The course is of three year duration with a total fee of Rs. 90,000. We used to pay it after one year. We get stipend from the college thus the fee payment was done by the money we used to get. The fee structure is quite feasible as such.

The college organise many seminars and workshops on various topics. Many eminent speakers attend the conference which is really motivating for us. Other cultural and sports events are organised at the campus too.

I chose MD for my post graduation for which I have to give an entrance exam. The entrance exam called NEET-PG is held for the same purpose. An online application form needs to be filled for the exam. Final merit list is announced thereafter.

The teachers are very generous. They guide us in making projects, assignment and help us choose interesting topics for them. Their mentoring is obviously very important for us. They are very supportive.
