Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the M.Tech course in Farm Power & Machinery is rather streamlined and mainly focuses on the specialisation. The students are provided with a holistic curriculum along with frequent examinations.

There are a lot of opportunities for a student if they wish to get placed at a good firm as the college collaborates with many prestigious companies throughout the year that visit the campus and hire students. To state a few, Union Bank, Godrej, Indian Oil.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for pursuing M.Tech at Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth - [PDKV], Akola is rather nominal. For a complete two year, full time, on-campus course it costs ?31,300. This fee is pretty feasible and inexpensive too as other institutions cost a fortune for the same course.

Campus Life

I have always enjoyed all these light and fun activities organised by the college throughout the year. These activities include cultural evenings, seminars, visits, trips etcetera. My personal favourite is the Annual Fest of the college

Hostel Facilities

A minimal cost of ?17k is all that it asks for a comfortable and luxurious abode. The hostel facility is not only feasible for a student but also at the same time better than any other options available in terms of level of comfort and other facilities.

Admission

After completing B.Tech, I decided to pursue M.Tech from Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth - [PDKV], Akola as the admission process here is simple. It majorly depends on the GATE entrance exam scores.

Faculty

Teaching staff of the college and especially my course is just commendable. They come from all over the country and help us in every way possible. I am glad to have such teachers who motivate us to do better in our lives.
