Hindu College

The course in BA English is a well structured three years of course in my college properly researched by the professiors. It's set in such a way so as to prepare us or make us professional with the course subject.

The placement cell isn't as such satisfactory in my college a student here has to somehow search for a job of there interest on there own. However the college do prepare us for placements or jobs but on campus placements isn't as such available.

The fees structure is way much affordable for us even for the ones belonging to poor backgrounds or to rural areas. The total amount of payment we have to make within three years of course is just Rs.7,400

Something that's best about my college is equality in provision of scholarships by that I mean like many other colleges provide scholarships opportunities just to minority or sc/st candidates and not equally to general category isn't in my college, opportunities for scholarships are available to all be it general category or any other belonging to poor backgrounds.

In my college everyone is treated as equal there isn't any kind of unfairness regarding any gender or religion or cast or race and ethnicity neither there is anything biased as for because of anyone's political or economic status.

I got admission for BA (English) in this college on the basis of my merit in the 10+2. The basic eligibility criteria for admission in this college is to qualify in the academic year (10+2) from a recognised board. I am doing this course rather then any other course because I want to do masters in journalism after it and persuing graduation in English before persuing masters in journalism is like cherry on top.

The faculty of my department teach us very effectively imparting proper knowledge of a topic to us making our communication better in English bringing professionalism in us. All of them are a bunch of well qualified teachers holding PhDs or master's degree.
