Remarks

College management at out time was good but the result declaration period was one of the drawbacks as it was under the BHU administration.

Entrance Preview

IIT-JEE I didn't scored dearly that is why proportionately I had to compromise with the chic of my college and department as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum need to be reviewed to cater to the present need of the industry as well as situation electives offered as compared to other primer colleges were not unto mark. But the specific course related to different streams were thorough in 2nd and 3rd year of engineering also its lagging far behind in attracting students for R&D and live projects at least at my time electives such as history of science are worthless in present context and their is no real application of it instead some of the most sought after electives in most of the colleges like micro-finanace need to be incorporated.

Internships Opportunities

Stipend is hardly offered but general internship experience was good and kind of response that we used to get at these internship were equally good as we were considered from one of the top colleges in the country.

Placement Experience

3.5

All these IIT campuses are placement agency whether you studied much or not you will mostly end up with good job. there is no dearth of companies coming to campus and you have fair chance where you want to end up given you tried even a little and keep your academics a little good as well.

College Events

3.5

Kashiyatra annual cultural festival and its one of the biggest in that partTechnex annual technical festival and it was one of the major attraction for the students to showcase their talent magnum opus annual management festival and was pretty exciting in terms of number of participation despite being a technical collegeApart from this there used to be separate department festival annually for each department with different names.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure at our time was one of the cheap for getting into IIt. I think it was affordable even for the poorest of people and loan amount accumulated during four years won't be too much to bother you after you get a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is where my college is really lagging behind as there were hardly any scholarship available but for needy students there was easy availability of loan from the bank inside the campus premise without much hitch and without hectic documentation.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ration is very poor in IIT and same was the case with our college as well hostel parties were there occasionally but mostly parties were organised either at hotels to shabbas there were good clubs promoting students welfare and personality development like speakers club and kahi-utkarsh teaching underprivileged children.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel rooms were in sharing basis the condition of the room were okay as it was very old and very green hostel premise so there was huge problems of reptiles being found in bathroom and with the hostel and mosquitos were omni present.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni are very helping and motivating every time they met students there were also very supportive of their alma meter and used to help students at any location they are with all the help whenever contacted during internship or job this is the biggest plus point.

Exam Structure

Exam were used to be at one stretch so it was a bit hectic as you don't get any day off except sunday and it was taxing to focus that long.

Faculty

3

Judging by the common experience in first year the quality of faculty was kind of okay considering it being an IIT but I hoped for better quality and from my experience of faculty at my department the quality was not as good to cater to make best engineers and also it was very horrifying to see some of faculty teaching actually some of the important subjects.

Placement Experience:

Integral University in the third of engineering asks us to take time out for placements training. Students who haven't done any internships are asked to do one or attend the workshops organized at the university. Thus in the final year, we are fully prepared and companies also are never disappointed as maximum students clear the interviews with ease.

Placement Experience:

My college has an average placement of 6LPA. Placement eligibility starts from the end of 5th semester, but when I got promoted to 5th semester, placements declined due the the restructuring in placement cell. So our batch missed the opportunity to attend any placements. In year 2022, the highest placement was around 22LPA and in year 2023, it declined to 9 LPA as there was restructuring in team. After getting my degree I will look for carrier opprotunities on my own, as I have not experienced any placement in my college years.
