Course Curriculum Overview
There are total 10 semesters. Each semester has a theory paper and submission practicals as well. There is external jury at the end of each semester in which external examiner appointed by the universiity comes to the collge. One has to present all the work done in that sem and is marked accordingly.Theory papers are quite easy. But submissions are hectic. One has to work day and night to cope up with this amount of work.
Placement Experience
Almost, they provide 90% of the placements definitely. Majority of them got instant placements. Rest of them went to other universities or colleges to pursue their masters in architecture. Many students from my senior batch and our batch got placed in Pune, Mumbai and Bangalore architecture firms.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college fee structure is bit on the higher side ie a bit expensive, I feel. The fees are Rs 90,000 per annum which makes it to Rs 450,000 on s total for a period of five years which is not very economical or affordable.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yess there are scholarship facilities available for the students. But they are for the students of reserved category such as OBC,ST etc. Also the families whose annual income is less can also apply for the loan.
Campus Life
I would rate 10/10 for the fests. Probably, it is the best fest in the whole Pune. Independently, the architecture college has its own cultural fest, and it has fashion shows etc. Extracurricular activities include sports and drama competitions.
Admission
Admission is through centralized admission process (CAP) conducted by DTE based on the marks obtained in 10+2 & National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). Selection parameters and weightages: HSC or equivalent examination ? 50% NATA ? 50%
Faculty
We have faculty members from highly recognised colleges of India like- J.J. College of Architecture, School of Architecture Delhi, Rachana Sansad College of Architecture and others. So it can be stated that it is overall a good college with a good faculty. We also had NASA event at our college.
