Remarks

Management is a bit money minded but still a very hard working management to develop the college so that their image as a group will increase. They can avoid having cctv camera in class rooms.

Entrance Preview

Anna university. I scored 60. I was looking for ECE course available college in anna university counselling. This was the best available college which had ECE slot.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was excellent. Because we had a good knowledge in all fields like electrical,electronics,mechanical and also in Java in which im working currently.

Internships Opportunities

I went to All India radio for IPT. We had a set of IVs as well. No stipend was offered. There is not that good experience for these stuffs in my college.

Placement Experience

It was excellent for me. I got placed in first company that came to our college. After that 3 to 4 companies came for on campus recruitment. But all were IT companies. If it was core companies it would have been good.

College Events

We had departmentwise symposiums. We also had some other events That i really dont remember. They were some science exibitions i guess. But symposium was really an awesome ones.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very much feasible for anna university couselling guys. Though they collect some misc fee of around 10000 its good for management quota students its way too high.

Campus Life

College life is always good. Labs are good for ECE,EEE,CSE IT not for mechanical may be things changed now. No sports whcih is main drawback of this callege.

Hostel Facilities

I'm not from hostel background. I was a day scholar. It was always yes for the first yr students since they dont get to know the areas. But most of them dint prefer college hostel after first year.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

There is an alumini meet conducted every year but I dono how many are really attending those senior students are just connected to social networking sites. Some faces are even forgotten.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is pretty good. They conduct cycle tests based on which internal marks are given.

Faculty

3.5

70% of the faculties were good. Few were not upto mark of course no college can have faculty that can satisfy everyone. So overall it was good. Some were not that qualified. I dont know the current situation.

After the semester of 6. Before sixth semester students create their own resume. 7th semester students are allowed to attend their campus interview placements. Accenture cognizant and wipro are here for the open campus and they offer 15000-20,000 for the freshers . There is 10% of placement in the previous year campus interview.and some students are decided to not attend the campus interview.my plans after getting the degree .I want to become an python developer in the well known company.

Learning happens in Vel Tech

I choose veltech because it near the borders of Andhra which is my residence so it would be Convenient to join here I have also applied for Sathyabama,rajalakshmi,RMK,and even panimalar college too.
