No complaints at all. I had entered Nirmala College as a little girl of 17 and have come out at the age of 20, a fully grown woman. I have learnt life skills, history and the art of making good friends here!

The B.A History course spans over 6 semesters with each semester having a different set of subject combinations. There's American History, Indian history and of course, the wars. You will also have to present analytical papers here.

Personally, I would like to go for higher studies- M.A and Ph.D. But placement at Nirmala College is a gala fest with multiple companies dropping in to recruit. These include top MNCs like TCS and Infosys.

It's a government college and hence, the fee is pretty cheap! The charge is as little as Rs 1905 per year and hence the total comes to a measly Rs 5715. And if you take into account the facilities, it's a steal!

Too good! It's a women's college and hence both sports and fine arts are encouraged in equal measure. Besides the volleyball and basketball matches, we have regular music and dance recitals on important days.

To be eligible for admission in the B.A History course, you must have passed your higher secondary in any discipline from a recognized board. Then you have to apply online with mentioned documents and wait for the lists to come out.

The faculty are extremely professional towards us. They will teach you and correct you and stand up for you in case you need them to, but you can't expect them to be very familiar with you or do you favours.
