Remarks

Located in the city of Shahdol in Madhya Pradesh, this university feels like home to all students. There is no pressure, no fierce competition and overall development of students is the only thing that matters.

Course Curriculum Overview

This 3-year course is action-packed- you have to study the history of English Literature, Indian Writing in English, American Literature, and even professional courses like Mass Communication and Journalism.

Placement Experience

Since this is not a professional course, not many companies come to recruit us. But at least in our department, there is not much need. It is an honours course and most students prefer to go for at least a Masters.

Fee Structure And Facilities

They have hiked their fees this year, I believe, but when I was a student there, the total cost of the course was Rs 6000. Now, the total cost of three years is Rs 8400, with Rs 2800 being the annual payment required.

Campus Life

We have a lush playground on campus, which is used for all sports events- be it a cricket match or a football match. Fests and cultural evenings take place in a huge auditorium. The labs are air-conditioned and have wifi access.

Admission

The complete application process takes place online. The only eligibility criteria is that you should have passed your Class 12 from a recognized university. Then, if your name features on the merit list, you are given admission.

With the professors we have, there is never a dull day in class! They will narrate even the boring parts like history of English literature in the form of a story! Blessed to have professors like Dr. Karnesh Jha, who is our HOD.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Placement Experience:

It's mostly the lawyers and law firms as arbitrators lawyers and solicitors firm. Also Litigation firms like AZB, Tatava Legal and others too took few students but not many though. Almost from a batch size of 200 students 40 odd got placed through campus.

Placement Experience:

It's mostly the law firms as corporate houses have so far have drench coming to our campus. The reasons are obvious as just three batches have been passed out from her so far and unless a strong alumni network is formed it is impossible to get great placements from our campus.
