My Journey With Sourashtra College

The course curriculum was easy and focused on research. We had to use computer labs to complete research work for our journals and projects. The exam structure included marks for final exams, practicals and internal tests.

The placements, job opportunities and internships were not available. Some of us got internships outside college, but not on campus. No companies contacted us before competing the course. A lot of had to wait for long before we could find a good job.

The fee structure was absolutely feasible. It was ?7,500 for year. Post graduation courses like MSc and MBA usually cost a lot more than that but I was done in ?15,000 for 2 years, plus no extra charges.

We had different sports grounds where we could play. We would often long lectures spanning continuously for 3-4 hours. After that, the profesor would sometimes take us down to play. It was a good relief.

There was no entrance test for courses other than MBA. For my course, selection was based on merit. I had completed my degree from here only. I got a good score in final exams, so applied here and god admission. It was a simple process.

The faculty were very understanding of our problems and doubts, and solved them properly, explaining us the reasons behind it. They would often share their life experiences with us, so that we could learn some lessons from them.
