Remarks

The Rizvi Law College is one of the most outstanding colleges in the city of Mumbai. The college aims to teach the students in a systematic and brilliant manner which helps the students attain the best quality of knowledge and helps in refurnishing their talent.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for the 3 year LLB course consists of all core law subjects such as the Indian Penal Code, CrPc, CPC, Law of Torts, Contract Law, etc. Practical training, tutorials and case study are a part of our curriculum.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college has an active placement cell that calls upon firms from all tiers, corporate and others to recruit students through in campus interviews. The college invites firms such as Trilegal, Luthra and Luthra, etc. to hire students for internships and as advocates.

College Events

4

The college celebrates many academic as well as cultural events every year, at a small and large scale. The college hosts a National Level Moot Court Competition every year and invites college from all over the country to participate in.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is pretty feasible and includes all the facilities that the college is providing us with such as practical training sessions, sports facilities, events, etc. The fee per year is around Rs.25,000.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college also offers scholarships to the students in need. There are governmental scholarships for the students belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category which helps in the reduction of fee and fully paid scholarships.

Campus Life

The college is known for its extra curricular activities. the college offers the students with seminar & workshops, mooting and mock trials, guest lectures, field visits to courts, jails, etc. The fests hosted by the college are a mix of educational and cultural events.

Hostel Facilities

The college has a hostel as well as Paying guest facilities. The hostel facilities are for the students on a first come, first serve basis. The faster the hostel accommodation fills up, the lesser the space. The is also a canteen with great food for the students.

Admission

Eligible candidates who have appeared for the Common Entrance Test (CET) have to apply for the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) and the colleges are allotted to them depending on their entrance score. I was allotted Rizvi in the CAP round.

4

The faculty of the college are known for their pedagogy which includes class room lectures, interactive sessions & discussions, case studies, power point presentation & documentaries, guest lectures, practical training, project work, etc.

I genuinely choosed this course to earn money. Even this course offers respect in society. And prepares well for the real world applications. In my college they use projector for teaching and not digital board. Exams conducted are very easy and not so strict.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.
