Remarks
Judges and legal luminaries from the Supreme Court and the High Courts are regularly invited to present lectures, talks and discussions and as judges for the Moot Courts etc. Scholars and Professors of law from various reputed law schools in UK., U.S.A. and Australia visit the College regularly to deliver lectures.
Course Curriculum Overview
The first 2 years out of the 5 years has basic subjects such as English, Logic, History, etc. to strengthen the fundamentals of Law. As we approached the third year, the subjects became more specialized and directly taught the Acts.
Placement Experience
The college has in house placement services for the students. The college strives to build academic-industry relationship and has tied up with various leading corporate and legal firms in Mumbai which hold campus interviews occasionally.
College Events
Regular Moot Court competitions along with debates, public speaking competitions etc., are held by the Students Council and the Cultural Committee. The college has a main fest called Just-Ice which includes academic as well as cultural events such as Moot Court Competitions, Cultural Activities, Games and Music Shows.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for the BLS.LLB double degree course is around 25,000/- a year which is very affordable. The college is known for its top notch facilities and quality teaching and the fee is considerably very less.
Fees and Financial Aid
Many scholarships are available for the students. Government scholarships for SC/ST/OBC students are available as per Government norms. The students who wish to take up the scholarship contact the college management for the same.
Campus Life
Rizvi Law College is eminent for its extra-curricular activities. Field trips and Study Tours to Jails, Supreme Court and High Courts are arranged regularly. The College hosts the RLC Maharashtra State level as well as National Moot Court Competition every year and law colleges across the country are invited to participate.
Hostel Facilities
Limited accommodation is available for boys and girls on first come first serve basis at the Hostel. Paying guest accommodations can also be arranged upon request. An excellent canteen serving Indian as well as continental food is arranged for the students.
Admission
The applicant has to have successfully completed 10+2 from a recognized university or equivalent. Students who have attempted the Common Entrance Test can apply for the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) online, through its website or from the link given by the competent authority after downloading their rank cards.
Faculty
The faculty of Rizvi is known to be scholarly. They are all professionals in their work ethics and have a certain set goal in their minds regarding their students and the current academic year. They encourage the students to set milestones and achieve them.
