Review on M.Sc in Mathematics

The course is of 2 years , total 4 semesters. This course is considered to be one of the toughest course. The course covers all the subjects related to mathematics from basics to advanced mathematics. This course deal a lot of tough part of mathematics. These course includes so many assignments, maths olympidas, maths lab and much more. Overall the course is chill for students those have interest in maths but at the same time course is tough and very hectic for students those are weak in maths.

Placements offered by institute is more than enough. I got placed as an Associate Consultant in Accenture solutions pvt ltd through college placement and i am satisfied with my job and earnings. Some of my friends also placed by college in companies like EXL- Decision Analytics, Ernst and Young LLP, ICICI, KPMG, Citi Bank as a data scientist, business analyst etc. All are earning well in their jobs.

The total fees of our course is 2,360 for 2 years which is not expensive at all. The fees is so relevant to pay for anyone. Students can pay their fees in two installments of 1,180 through bank NEFT or by online banking easily.

There are many extracurricular activities are conducted by college like Induction programme, sports activities (includes basket ball, kho-kho, football and hockey courts) , presentations, interactive sessions by guest lecturers, Golden jubilee celebration and many more. There are several societies & clubs of students for particular activities like social clubs, sports clubs, computer science association, cultural society and much more. These all clubs and activities allow every student to take part and give chance to show their talents.

College conduct an alumni meet every year for interaction between senior students and junior students. Many seniors from our college are at top and high positions. Many seniors come in alumni meet and share their experiences related to career and life. The whole session is so interactive.

I select this course over other pg degrees because I am good at maths than other subjects and i found maths interesting. This degree also opens many job opportunities in different sectors for me. I got admission in this course on the basis of my bachelor's degree with science stream from a recognized university followed by counselling process and documentation.

Faculties are so good in our college. They all are highly intellectual by mind. They all solve complicated equations in a seconds. They all are supportive and helpful. The method they use for teaching is conventional as they prefer black board instead of projector for teaching us. This method helps us in understanding the concept more clearly. Overall faculties are so good in our college.
