Placement Experience
The Hospital under the Katihar Medical College provides placement to the students who apply for it. Other than that, many join other hospitals as well as nursing homes for their practice as a medical surgeon.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of MD depends mostly on the subject. The tuition fee ranges from 5 Lakhs per year to 45 Lakhs per year, depending on the choice of specialization. For example, if a student chooses MD in General Medicine, the annual fee is 35 Lakhs. On the other hand, if a student chooses MD in Physiology, the annual fee is 5 Lakhs.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities include sports. The college provides various facilities for the outdoor sports games like courts to play badminton, basketball, tennis, volleyball, cricket, football. The college also has a gymnasium for the students.
Admission
I applied to the MD course after completion of my MBBS Degree. After submission of the previous marksheets, NEET marks, the college calls the student for counselling, for verification of documents. They verify all the original documents, and then select the student for admission.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is highly qualified and has many years of working experience. They provide you with guidance, physical training as well as theoretical training. They focus on internships as well as various research methodologies.
