Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum contains all the relevant subjects that are required to be studied to be a successful engineer. The course was interesting and enjoyable, as much as it was informative and knowledgeable. Exams were held regularly, every semester.

Placement Experience

3

The college provides internships, and reputed firms and organisation take interns from college, such as BHEL, Kota Thermal Plant, HMT Ajmer and Genus. We were also provided with training so that we would do well in placement season. Aptitude training, resume making, industry interaction, mock interviews and domain training all helped us prepare. Companies such as HCL and MTS Telecom recruit from the college

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the Bachelor's degree is 1.47 lakh rupees per semester, which is quite costly as a matter of fact. the total cost is upwards of 5 lakhs, which isn't generally affordable, and often, students have to take loans.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided to meritorious students who need it. there are also scholarhsips for girl students, and the government's Tution Fee Waiver scheme. The college also helps students get education loans, and they have a special understanding with Bank of baroda.

Campus Life

Different clubs are there on campus and many students are part of these. There are computer and mechanical clubs, robotics and dramatic societies, language and dance clubs. Both outdoor and indoor sports are played by students in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are really good. The rooms are decent, with attached bathrooms. Drinking water is available, and water coolers too. Sporting facilities are available in the hostels, and transport too. Medical and internet facilities are there too. In addition, if anyone wanted, they could take English language and personality development classes. Hostel facilities cost 60,000 rupees per year

Admission

I took admission here after completing my 12th board exams. The application was based on my board exam results. I was selected on the basis of the merit list that was formed by setting a cut-off marks limit. I took admission here after seeing positive reviews.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty members are all qualified individuals and they helped a lot in understanding the topics. They calmly explained all the things to us, so we wouldn't have problems later, be that in exams or later in life where we would be required to apply our knowledge.

Birla Institute of Technology - [BIT], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.
