Course Curriculum Overview
Mainly every semester for every subject consists of 80 to 90 lectures to complete for 1 complete semester. Every topic have different lecturers in Anatomy,physiology, Biostatistics but for medical physics there is only one teacher. Every lecturere here is professor of there course so they are highly experienced and nearly of 45 to 55 of age. They are well experienced to deliver everything related to subject.They always ready to clear concepts of any subjects. All have lot of experience in their field of teaching.
Placement Experience
The placement head is good. Almost all the students from our batch got placed. The average package offered is 7 to 8 LPA. Students can also get the packages from 15 to 20 LPA. Some of the students were offered even more than 20 LPA. The highest package offered is 30 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is the last thing to worry about if you get an admission in AIIMS. You pay all the fee for the entire course as well as hostel accomodation at the time of admission itself which is a mere 5000/- in total that includes everything except food.
Campus Life
There are many extracurricular activities in the college. There are various societies such as music society, literature society, scientific society, sports society etc. On gender ratios, boys are more in the ratio of about 4:1. The students are from all the parts of India.
Admission
Test comprises of Physics, chemistry, biology or maths ( Depend upon the stream the student have in 12 th class). After entrance test,Result is announced in the first week of July. Then the counselling is held by which u are able to choose different courses depends on your rank.
Faculty
Teachers in the college are highly qualified. They are the best in the country. Teaching methods are lectures (slides), interactive sessions, and bedside case discussions around patients. The student to faculty ratio is around 10:1. Since AIIMS is the apex institute, we are fortunate to see very rare diseases that we only see and read in textbooks.
