My college life in the college

Yoga is the art and a way to live life. the course curriculum basically focused on the topics of Basics for Yoga studies, Consciousness & Yoga, Scientific study of Yoga and Consciousness, Patanjali Yoga Sutras and Shatdarshanas and case study on human anatomy. The course had a duration of two years.

Our college had established a placement and recruitment cells for the students. every year the students got many jobs to offer from various colleges, Gymnasium, corporates and national sports college. When I was in the final year I got placement in Haryana government college. which was my first placement from college.

My college fees were very affordable, the amount of the fees was nothing, I paid approx INR 17000 for my entire course. also, I had a sports background so I received a scholarship from the government after completing the degree. So, I can say that the fees were feasible.

Many events were celebrated which spread joy among the students. NCC programmes, Fresher's party, women's day, sports day, Diwali, Lohri, were celebrated in a very huge way by the students and faculty. our college had a big auditorium, a football ground, a basketball court, a cricket ground and many indoor games such as carom, table tennis, ludo etc.

To get admission in this course a candidate must have Any Undergraduate Degree in Yoga related courses, any diploma which is equivalent to the course. I had a bachelor degree in Yoga so it was easy for me to get admission hereby submitting my mark sheet, transfer certificate of the previous college.

All of the faculty of college were very good and very kind in nature. My favourite teacher was Dr. S. Selvalakshmi, he was the Assistant Professor and Head of our department. he was very much qualified and had degrees like Sc (Yoga)., M.Sc (YT)., M.Sc (Psy)., M.P.Ed., M.Phil., PhD. The teachers always focus on practical exams.
