Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very competitive. Theoretical and practical knowledge are given equal importance as is necessary for my course. Final exams are conducted twice a year. In addition to that, projects, internal tests and practicals are assessed for marks.

Placement Experience

4

A good percentage of students go into energy&power sector every year. Companies like JCB, Vodafone, MTS, Parle, Areva come at our campus placements to recruit students. Internship opportunities are available in college in companies like BHEL, Kota Thermal Plant, HMT Ajmer.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My first year fees came to around ?1,50,000, and the total for the whole graduation was ?6 lacs including application fees, tuition fee and other charges. This amount is not very feasible, but it is the normal range in other colleges as well.

Campus Life

Sports are required for a balanced life. A qualified sports officer is in charge for the sports events and the sports department. Students can play cricket, football, volleyball. Team sports like this really enforce familiarity and friendship among us.

Hostel Facilities

A boys' hostel and a girls' hostel are present on campus. Rooms are available for an individual or on sharing basis. Internet connection, TV, in-house doctor are available. The intake is 100 students for boys' hostel and 50 for girls' hostel. Security is ensured.

Admission

The college doesn't have an entrance exam of its own. Two things are essential to get admission here. First, 50% marks in 10+2, with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Second, JEE Mains score.

Faculty

4

The teachers are very qualified and experienced. They are dedicated towards students' success. They used simple techniques and presentations to explain complex concepts to us. They used to give us important notes so we wouldn't get burdened.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.
