Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is comprehensive. The syllabus includes Chaucer to the Elizabethan Age, Shakespeare studies, The Augustan Age, Romantics and Victorians and American Literature. There is also Indian Writing in Literature taught as a part of curriculum.

Placement Experience

4

Our college has a separate employment cell called Capability Enhancing Program. It basically provides career counselling to all students. There is also guidance for competitive exams. The job opportunities are dwindling now due to the pandemic. I have always internships to look forward to.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is pretty feasible with a cumulative tuition fees of Rs 17,610. There are other fees included too. There is also library fees, co-curricular activities fees and computer lab fees. There is also an admission fee attached.

Campus Life

There are clubs and cell and there is also a biodiversity club on campus. There are NCC and NSS on campus. There is an alumni association, PTA association and different subject associations. Our biodiversity club has taken up a project called Santhisthal.

Admission

I chose the college as it is highly regarded and is a reputed one. It has A accreditation by NAAC. Since I was from Kolkata I needed to produce my migration certificate as well as eligibility certificate. The admission is based on merit and there is also an interview.

Faculty

4.5

Our faculty is highly qualified. Our HOD holds a doctorate in the subject. She is extremely caring and helpful. She is an Associate Professor. Her name is Achamma Alex. There are around 12 teachers in working as faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Placement are not the best. But EY , federal bank, TCS are some the prominent companies that are coming. The negative thing about placement is most of them are offering marking jobs. So if you are someone who is interested in operations this is not the collage you want to in.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
