Remarks

The college has been the helping hand for my future in law and I consider myself very lucky to be a part of Maharishi University of Information Technology. I have had a good time in the college and hope the future students also appreciate the college in the same way.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is of 3 years which means six semesters. There are training, internships, and also legal coursework during this six semesters for which we had to get full credits to successfully complete our course with good marks.

Placement Experience

5

There are placements that are provided by the college in different law firms. The college also gave change to new law firms who had a good prospectus. There was a high degree of students placement each years which made the placement cell a success.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the six semesters were feasible considering the amount of facilities that the course would offer to their students. There were also loan facilities that the students could avail for which they had to talk to the respective authority.

Campus Life

There were many facilities that were offered by the college along with the events that the college organized for their students. We used to spend a very nice time with our classmates and teachers during these events.

Admission

I wanted to study law after completing my bachelors in mass communication and hence applied to Maharishi University of Information Technology for a course in LLB. I got through since I had the necessary percentage from my graduation and also had a successful interview.

Faculty

5

The faculties in our college were both full time lecturers and also guest lecturers who had their own law practice. All of them were very knowledgeable about the aspect of law and the kind of lawyers that we should become.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since mostly LLB students at BHU target for judiciary exams. And BHU is known as the factory of judges for north india. Hence there is no question on the relevance of course in the area. But if one has to do litigation then she may prefer DU over BHU. The diffuculty of semester exams is not that much you can crack it even after studying rigorously for 2 weeks before the exams. But the 70% attendance rule is strictly applied here. Hence u will have to take classes compulsorily. Also there is not much gap in start of semester and mid term and final exam. It feels like u always have exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

LLB course is very beneficial and very earning especially if you are a second generation student. For a first generation for first few years it is somewhat struggling if you want to do litigation.. The course really prepares you well for real life and also it gives you some power to you . Some improvements that can be done in my course in my university is that the subject that is taught in a semester is quite vast in one and quite small in another.Teaching method is quite good . There is mid semester after every two months in a semester and after every five moths there is a semester .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was really very much interested in studying law and doing something good for society at large. Now, talking about the faculty of this college, then it's really nice and supportive along with great qualifications and practical experience. Student to faculty ratio is approximately 1:20 which is not very bad keeping in mind the sheer experience of faculty members. Term exams are conducted by Lucknow University as the college is affiliated to Lucknow University so it's totally the discretion of LU to take exams usually mid sems exams are conducted between Dec to Jan whereas end sems are conducted between July to August. The difficulty of exams is totally dependent on the paper setters of LU but they are not very tough if you studied well and for those who haven't studied well, it's the toughest.
