Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the course is just like any other BBA course and covers almost everything about the same. It has a well structured examination pattern too which tests the knowledge of the students regularly.

Placement Experience

4

The placement and job opportunities at the college are really good. Upon the completion of the course, one can expect a renowned company to hire them by offering an alluring package and a promising future.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible for both the student and their parents. The BBA course costs around ?1,26,400 for a complete three year, full time, on-campus course. It is therefore absolutely value for money.

Campus Life

There are several extracurricular activities being organised by the college which includes cultural evenings, fests, visits etcetera to rejuvenate the students. These activities are well appreciated by the students of the college.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumnis of the college are successful and kind. They are very helpful in nature and always take out time to visit the campus on any auspicious occasion. I am glad to have such seniors in my life.

Admission

Right after completing my schooling, I started to look for colleges that offer the BBA course and then I found Sant Baba Bhag Singh University (SBBSU), Punjab. The admission procedure is simple and quick.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college is amazing. The amount of knowledge that they possess is unbeatable and they have got endless to teach us and make us half as good as them. I am fortunate enough to be learning from them.

Placement Experience:

Students start becoming eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester, and that’s when most training sessions for aptitude, coding and soft skills also begin. The placement cell is active throughout the year and brings in a mix of product-based, service-based and mid-tier tech companies. The number of offers varies every year, but CSE-related branches usually get the highest share of opportunities. Companies come for roles like software trainee, analyst, QA, support engineering and web development, so there’s a good spread of entry-level roles.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum “is well-planned … as per NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines.” Practical classes are included daily alongside theory. “practicals are also included each day along with theory classes.” The AETCOM (Attitude, Ethics, Communication) component is explicitly mentioned, which is good because it shows attention to non-technical competencies. there are 4 levels of exams in a year — mid-terms, “send-ups,” etc. Some students feel the curriculum is stressful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Placement Experience:

There is an option for students to opt for placements from campus in our university and if we seect that option we are given special training by the university it self in fields which we think we are weak. That include technical and non technical fields like soft skills. University also ties up with other triaining companis to train us in better way by calling tutors from outside the campus for teaching us. Over all if we consider we are already well trained by university to sit for on campus placements and we usually get a good paying job which also helps us to gain more knowledge and improve ourself.
