Life at Arul Anandar College

The course curriculum is interesting, relevant and well-designed. The topics taught are all important with respect to the subject, and they are crucial to the understanding of what we came to learn. Examinations are held regularly, as are laboratory classes.

The placement scenario has room for improvement, but it is still pretty decent. There is a Career guidance and placement cell that was established for the aim of helping students prepare for interviews. There are a few companies that visit the campus, like Sumitoma Agrochemicals, Book Craft India Pvt Ltd, Serlite Tuticorin, Population International Services, Good Hope Group, Dhan Foundation. They also helped in getting internships.

The fee structure is very affordable, which is great for students from rural areas, and those from poorer sections of the society.. This is considerably cheap, which is great for us, and we can get good education for a feasible amount of money.

There are different extracurricular activities available - sporting, technical and cultural ones. Students participate in these activities enthusiastically. There are workshops and seminars held from time to time, and there are some good laboratories as well, with quality instruments.

The hostels are good enough. The facilities are decent, and the living conditions are good enough. There is supervision and guarding but it is not too strict. There are both shared and single rooms in the hostels.

The alumni and seniors are very helpful towards the juniors. When I was a student in the college, I got help from the seniors is getting through some aspects of life at the college and course. Now that I am an alumnus, I try and help the students as I can!

Admission to the college is through an entrance examination, for which eligibility was having graduated with a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. I decided to come here because it is affiliated to a state university, and has a good reputation.

The faculty is quite good. They know the subjects they teach, and they help us understand the topics properly. They do their best to hold our attention and ensure that we actually understand what we are studying,
