Course Curriculum Overview
The course is really good . we often have workshops which gives us affordable access to all the equipments and the gemstones that might be needed to complete the practical requirements of the course through the learning classes. The exam structure is also quite relaxable and we are provided with self study options if you need to prepare for the final exams or a proctored exam.
Placement Experience
The career placements camps are organised in our college and the placement rate is around 85% . My seniors were given the oppourtunity to attend the recruiting sessions with the prominent industries of the country. Yes my college also offers internship for students who are willing to take part and want to increase their set of knowledge and skills.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My one year course fees is around 1.7 L which I consider is really reasonable because of the course structure that the college offers . The teachers are also very well trained as they impart us valuable information about their gem and jewellery industry.
Campus Life
The labs are very well equipped and cleaned , and other activities like conferences , moot courts , gem and design workshops are also held to boost the confidence of the students in these fields other than the academics . Other kind of sports activities that happen in our college are football , table tennis , chess , swimming etc.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are really helpful moreover on successful completion of the course on can become member of the GIA alumni association.The membership also helps a student to get listed on the college alumni directory which is an international directory of students who is a pass out from any of the three GIA campus in the country. We also have special alumni conferences and debates where the seniors tell their experiences and guide us to achieve our goals.
Admission
I had applied by the online mode to this college as it is a very simple process. Thereafter I was asked to upload my documents and everything that is to be included. I had to submit them a physical examination letter so that I do not suffer from any major disease. After all my documents were verified I was called for the counselling session and later on granted admission.
Faculty
The teachers are really well trained and are very helpful. I have cleared all my doubts regarding the subjects from the senior faculty members also. They have valuable knowledge in their course and help the students in achieving their goals.
