Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very apt and helps us learn how a corporate house need to function and what are the problems they might encounter in their day to day working. All of these situations are made us understood through case studies which we have to present and which will be helpful for us in the future. The duration of the course is 2 years and we have exams every half year.
Placement Experience
The internship and placement facilities of this college are decent and are improving every year. A number of companies visit the college regularly and recruit students but generally they prefer searching for job opportunities outside because of better perks available.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees was very minimal and students could also fend for themselves because of the affordable and relaxed fee structure. We had to pay Rs. 12,400 in the first year and Rs. 11,520 in the second year which was very reasonable for students who wanted to fund the masters on their own.
Campus Life
The extra-curricular activities at this college were phenomenal but the students doing masters are generally not able to spare enough time for activities due to academic pressure and other commitments. However, the college life here was amazing and the students were really motivating and hard-working.
Admission
I got into Bharathiar University, School of Distance Education - [BU-SDE] for a course of executive MBA. I had been working in a company for 3 years and I wanted to pursue MBA for better opportunities and position in a company and hence I decided to apply in this college. Candidates are selected on the basis of their Bachelor? degree score and they need to have a minimum of 3 years of work experience. The admission process was thus very smooth and trouble-free.
Faculty
The faculty of the college was very helpful and understanding. The teachers made us use of our own analysis for coming out of a case study situation since a lot of the students had work experience. The teachers took regular classes and we had to maintain our attendance otherwise we would face difficulty in the issuance of admit card for exams.
