Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is divided into six semesters consisting of both theory and practical work from the first semester itself. The practical work is as important as the theory work and should not be neglected at any cost.

Placement Experience

The college has a minimum placement rate of 90 percent and more for the year. In our course itself, the pass out batch of 2019 had a placement rate of 92% in which 91 students got placed out of the 99 who were eligible for the placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are six semesters in this course and the course fee per semester is Rs. 16,700 which needs to be paid at the beginning of each semester. There are other fees such as the annual students insurance policy fee is Rs. 100, the examination fee and supplementary examination fee of Rs. 200 for each theory or practical paper. During admission students have to pay one time admission fee of Rs. 1500, one time caution money deposit of Rs. 500 and one time alumni fee of Rs. 150.

Campus Life

There are labs, libraries and many other facilities that are provided by the college. There are also many events each year that are arranged here by the teachers and the students. Not all of the events are educational, some of them are recreational as well.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are available here for a fee of Rs. 10,000 per semester for each candidate. This fee has to be given in advance during the time of admission and includes all the amenities present in the hostel. The mess charges will be extra which will be taken each month. There are is a refundable caution money deposit of Rs. 1000 as well.

Admission

The selection to the course of diploma in plastics technology is done through cracking CIPET JEE. You can submit your applications through the online link that is available at their site or even contact the admissions office.

Faculty

The faculties of the college are extremely qualified in the subject and you will get to know that just from the way they teach. Most of the teachers do not even need the notes in front of them and remember the course material by heart.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

For internship from college students are applicable after 3rd year and on 7th semester they are applying for placements.
