Our college imparts great knowledge for those who have an eye for retail and a creative flair and are really passionate about the gems and jewelry. Our college also offers programmes in different fields like design and gemology and operates classes in Surat , Mumbai and Delhi. I would say that GIA is a pure blend and mix of holding high standards of professionalism through their various research and educational programs.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is really good we have well trained teachers which give us insights in teaching and how well the task is to be performed.The graduate diamonds programme is really helpful for the students who want to gain knowledge and acquire expertise in gem and jewelry industry.
Placement Experience
Our college hosts a number of placement programes which are designed exclusively for the gem/jewelry industry. The placement rate is 80% and many of the last year year students were placed in big companies . Overall I would say that the placements are really good.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for one year is around 7 lakh in total which I consider is little expensive but the labs and the professionalism in development that they offer pay for this. Moreover the infrastructure of the college also adds to the charm because who does not want to get hold of such good college to refine our management skills.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes our college also offer scholarships to worthy students for lab classes , on campus programmes and e learning. Students are encouraged to apply for the scholarship no matter of their financial position.
Campus Life
The conferences and the cultural meets are really good . We have a wider oppounuity to gain insight into the different culturals of students . Various sports festivals are also organised by the college like football, volleyball , chess , badminton etc.
Admission
You need to apply online and upload all your necessary documents . After that fill up the course that you consider and have interest in . After submitting you would be called for a counselling session and if everything seems perfect according to them you would be granted admission in the college.
Faculty
The teachers are really well mannered and their premium focus is to help students in all their issues related to gemology and design as well as the classes taken by them in retail sales.All my doubts are solved by the teachers and they encourage us in working hard . They also provide us valuable guidance on how a task is to be performed and how to gain the trust of the public in gems/jewelry by meeting their standards of integrity.
