Course Curriculum Overview
Our course focuses on training and research facilities in subjects like Soil testing, Techniques for improving nutrient and water efficiency, Soil quality assessment. It involves basic and advanced research on soil with relation to its chemical and biological processes for efficient management of nutrients and energy.
Placement Experience
Students are inclined towards their research in the field of soil sciences. They learn various techniques to perform numerous researchers so that they can work on bringing new technologies in soil science, which can be conducive to Indian agriculture and farming.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is affordable as the institute offers books, study material to the candidates. They also offer various scholarships to deserving candidates to help them financially. Students also receive junior research fellowships.
Campus Life
The campus has library which stocks 1805 books, 1281 Bound Journals, 661 Annual Reports, 28 Foreign Journals, and 43 Indian Journals. The students are also taken for farms, industries and agricultural areas visits to enhance their skills outside the classrooms and labs.
Admission
I had to qualify ICMR-JRF i.e entrance exam for my admission to this university. I was shortlisted among the candidates who had to appear for further counseling , PI/WAT at the campus. We were asked to bring all the required documents for verification to prevent any kind of mishappening.
