Bachelor of Design [B.Des]

In my bachelor of design course, the course was all based on the design of products, textiles, and quite a lot of industrial design and also fashion design. The exam structure was quite a basic one and had a combination of evaluation tests and also the main/final exams.

Some recognized firms like Flipkart, ITC, H&M, Decathlon, Jabong, Snapdeal visit the campus for hiring new aspirants as they give the final exams. I got an offer from one of the firms but I planned to do further studies.

There was fashion week where students showed their talent while on the other hand, a guest was called at a certain time of the year for students' acknowledgment and motivation. Also, there were seminars and several extensive topics on the day when there were free lectures at the institute.

It was too expensive. Generally, students felt the fee structure very expensive as the fee for the four years Bachelor of Design was 8.37 lakhs which is quite a lot of amount. I paid 1.98 lakhs and 1.94 for the first and second year while 2.12 lakhs and 2.32 for the rest of two years respectively.

The institute organized a 'Fashion Week' where everyone participated and there was participation from the students of other institutes. Also, there were cultural programs organized by the students every consecutive weekend to freshen up from the curriculum. Also, the gender ratio was the same, and students maintained unity on the campus.

I was fond of the design so as soon as I completed my bachelor's, I applied to this stream after giving FDDI AIST exam as an entrance exam and my previous academic scores were above 50% so I applied at the official website with a bunch of all the mentioned documents. as the admission process was online.

Our faculty were all from the professional sector and had several years of experience in the real workplace as well as the academics in some recognized firms. Also, they always approached practical knowledge so that students can get a perfect idea about the topic.
