Excellent Institute for Post Graduation in Pharmaceutical Studies

There are 4 different options you can pick from for M.Pharm- Pharmaceutics, Quality Assurance, Pharmacology and Pharmaceutic Chemistry. The individual courses are extremely detailed and the M.Pharm degree is heavily dependent on research. There are 4 semesters and an exam is taken at the end of each.

The college does not provide internships but there is a very efficient Training and Placement Cell in place. Just in the previous placement season of 2018-2019, 7 people were hired by Sanofi Pharmaceuticals, 3 by Sanofi Syntheo Lab and 3 by the Serum Institute of India.

The fee is moderately expensive for a 2 year course. The M.Pharmacy course costs Rs 2.25 lakhs per year, so the total coat comes to Rs 4.5 lakhs. But the college also lets you pick a scholarship or loan option, in case you have merit and cannot afford the course.

The AICTE provides the Pragati and Saksham Scholarships to students of our college. The Pragati scholarship is for the female students of the college- one female student per family whose family income is under Rs 6 lakhs per month. Saksham scholarship is for diabled students with low family income.

College regularly conducts varied extra-curricular activities- face painting, mehndi making, carrom or even chess competitions. Apart from this culutural days such as ethnic day and western day is also celebrated.

I took admission in AISSMS College of Pharmacy for my postgraduation degree of M.Pharm in 2019. I was particularly interested in this college because of the excellent pedigree of education offered and the higher placement opportunities. I was admitted on the basis of my marks in B.Pharm.

Our eminent faculty is quite qualified. In fact, they are all researchers in their own right and this adds value to the lessons they teach. In 2018, Dr MC Damle had a paper published in the prestigious European Journal of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
