Remarks
It's a beautiful campus where you can learn and study, its pretty serious in academics and work aspect which is eventually good in bringing up the best dentist in you, it was private entrance during my time but now you have to give NEET and qualify for the seat, admissions are open after the NEET-UG results, well the campus spreads to one of the biggest in India with a very large number of people with mixed culture and the exposure u get there is tremendous, there is this site called srm.edu.com which provides everything u need about the college, top-rated private university in India, with best infrastructure and amenities, I feel the single brand back of the college as the extracurricular opportunities are less when you compare the other colleges of the university
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to be a dentist, the faculty-student ratio per year is about 35 to 100 (faculty yo student) in an average, there is an attached medical college along with the college so the first 3 years are dealt alongside the medical faculty which is the best part in bringing the doctor in you, as of the new DCI protocol there are only 3 to 5 graduate staff where rest is all master-level staff with 8 to 10 faculty in each department to 12 to 15 faculty in the medical department, the teaching mode is purely digital with lecturing and notes which are active and really knowledgeable to fulfill the academic thirst in you, and when it comes to exams anyone dies off too the frank fact is exam will be held on 1st of every month of Feb and August I can't be even more straight on that part
Internships Opportunities
It's a mandatory procedure to do a compulsory rotational internship within the college after 4 yrs of study to obtain your degree certificate. You have the option of doing your internship from any other college (dental) by breaking the bond with the college after payment and after the internship completion, you can obtain your degree certificate. Nb: the internship here is of no stipend during the course of the internship but the patient exposure is too good during the internship in the college.
Placement Experience
For dental college, there is zero placement but the engineering campus has abundant, so the question is not valid for a dental college
Fees and Financial Aid
It is around 3 to 5 lakh per year for 4 years with no internship stipend, but once a student enrolls for a fee per year its fixed there won't be any unnecessary fee other than the exam fee per year, there is no much availability for a campus job or financial assistance (you can do that privately), I won't tell that a person with a wavy resource shouldn't join a private institution in terms of fees they are not so flexible
Campus Life
omg the university hosts the best fests named Milan and Arash apart from this the college has its own fest named Thandie conducted by the interns every year its fun Classrooms have ACs and monitors and projectors with podium based seating arrangement Sports fest is conducted every year but they don't promote too much extracurricular because academics matters them more There are this srm alumni for passed out students but the university is a mixture where it can provide you so much of opportunities and experiences
Hostel Facilities
the hostel is near to the college but the standards are not really matching to the expectation, The meal is not so fine when its in routine basis The cost is around 1 to 1.5 lakh with mess fee which is not really worth I would say straight forward Registration is simple you need to go to the hostel administration which is inside the campus
Interview Experience
when I wrote I had a private exam for the college for dental and allied paramedics where I toped 30 but from now there are only candidates who pass with neet ug can join the course.
