B.Tech in CSE (Data Science) from ITMVU

It is an honor and pride for being a student of ITMVU. I would like to thank everyone of the University for shaping me with a brilliant mind of excellence & making me grow towards the success and bright future for my life as an emerging youth for the Industry as an engineer. The journey has been really great all through the way. I would appreciate the whole team of ITMVU for being supportive and providing us the endless opportunities for getting placed in the best company.

The best thing about this college is that it provides a speciaisation in Data Science and Cloud Computing, both of which are in great demand in the IT industry and I think that itself is a huge plus point. ITM Vocational University has sufficient labs for all the courses available here. The Institute also provides some of the basic courses like mechatronics, electrical, civil, mechanical etc. We have 2 exams per semester one internal exam of 20% marks and one external exam of 80% marks and also an oral exam.

The placement cell at the University is really a great launching platform for all of the students as it makes us industry ready by give us several practice sessions of the interviews and tips on how to cope up with others. Myself and my fellow classmates were provided opportunities to participate in and even sometimes bag positions, whether it maybe studies, projects based learning, conferences, paper publishing, each and every activity which can shape us. Finally, I would like to say, ITMVU shaped me to be a better person, taught me the actual teamwork.

The tuition fees for the 4 year B.Tech program in ITMVU is not that high when compared to other colleges around which is only about Rs 65,000/- per year. The other expenses depends on how much someone spends on extra activities. Totally, the 4 years of study and living costed me nearly about Rs 4,50,000/- which is a very nominal cost in terms of the quality of education and lifestyle we get here.

ITM Vocational University, Vadodara gives it's students and alumni a great college life experience. Our college host many public health campaigns life free eye-checkups, blood donation camps, tree plantation, etc. There are many events which help the students in building networks like hackathons, workshops, talent hunts. Previous year, the college hosted a GUJCOST sponsored National Workshop on computer Networks: Design and Simulation will provide comprehensive learning experience in order to enhance skills in computer networking design for better career opportunities.

After my class 12 examination, I thought to pursue Computer Science and Engineering. So I started searching for colleges which provided B.Tech in CSE and suddenly came through this college which was having an option for specialisation in Data Science and also in Cloud Computing. I applied to this college through their website and went for further admission procedure in the college itself.

The main focus of the faculties is on the skill development, entrepreneurship and innovation & creating industry-ready professionals and these are the unique features of the University. The course curriculum is designed by industry experts and our outstanding faculty members who have considerable industry and research experience. They try to give us hands-on experiential learning and this is what makes us stand out.
